endyn SC???

ok, just making sure, won't this make the car INCREDIBLY unreliable? or have they figured out some magic device that can support this?

that's all the horsepower, plus more than i need on my EX.

would you guys still suggest a swap over the endyn SC?

well, sometimes people believe anything that people say as long as it makes incredible horsepower with little money. like about 10years ago, someone was selling all motor civic engine that makes 650hp at the wheel. ALL MOTOR. no core charge either.

anyhow, i'll believe it when there is proven info time slips on that R integra.

also i talked to Keith at JRSC, he laughed when i told him about endyn charger, he just laugh and said oh well, looks like JRSC is out of business, we sold thousands of SC already, how many have Endyn sell. they dont even have back up on the 400hp that they claimed. sure they got a 12sec SC civic, but JG has a 12 sec SC integra. 12sec is doable, but not with a stock motor. thats what keith said.....

but also you are not going to get motherfuc*ing 400hp out of a ex civic stock, for $3500. keep reading and researching and maybe you will realize what endyn is really talking about. even still their claims are exagerated some (or a lot depending on who you talk to).

just get a swap. thats what most people do, especially when they don't actually work on their cars. dont tell me putting an intake on is working on your car either, I mean the big stuff.

Just cause jackson sold so many chargers doesnt mean a thing....good things come to people who wait....I have no seen one of larry's creation or aleast the full version but I do have a member of my club that has a ENDYN modified JRSC and its sweet!...dont hack on people with out giving them a chance...i love my JRSC i am just saying how i feel... =) www.teamfx.net

Endyn does sound like a gimick. 24 psi w/o building the motor seems like a pipe dream.

Larry has been building motors longer than most of us have been on this planet. Nobody believed the Wright brothers when they said they were going to fly either.

If you ever have the privelege of meeting Larry, you will soon understand he is the real deal. He's just a guy, like us, who thinks Honda builds an incredible motor, and want's to help people make them go fast. And after speaking to about 10 different engine builders, he was clearly the most honest and helpful. By a longshot.

Don't belittle Larry to a Honda engine builder... Hondas are a small hobby... his mind has probably put more national champions faster around a NASCAR track, or down the 1320 than any other single person in the last two decades... and no, you won't hear about it...

I don't know what to think about Endyn but I am very interested. Some of their claims about their SC seem pretty outrageous. I don't care how much porting/smoothing you do, it seems very unlikely that 24 PSI is attainable. When is this thing supposed to be out anyway? There have been no recent updates on the SC project other than ,"It's done when it's done".
I would like to hear more reactions on how people like the mods they do to the JRSC. 11PSI's sig does not contain any mention of water injection, etc. Just the J&S to tame detonation so it would seem that the Endyn mods allow him to reliably run 11 PSI.

PS: I just re-read this and it reads as if I am bashing Endyn which is not the purpose. If Endyn can make half of their claims stick when it comes out then they would have a great product!

You are very perceptive in noticing that I have no H20 injection. However, my sig does not tell all. The 11psi I was running was on a stock GSR with improvements mainly to the fuel delivery system to accomadate the higher boost (Injectors, Holley pump, Rail, Hyper R controller). It seems however, that I was riding on the edge of destruction. A faulty MSD distributor cap caused increased detonation in the motor to the point the rings decided to stop playing. Time for a rebuild.

After talking to almost 10 builders (Not mentioning names) NONE of them seemed interested in helping. Each conversation was more like "Yeah, we can build it, give us $X,XXX, send it to this address, is that all you wanted?"

Until one day a topic not unlike this one was started. People ripping on ENDYN and people praising ENDYN. I decided to do some research. After going to www.theoldone.com I emailed ENDYN with my dilema. Within 4 hours I got a phone call from Larry, I was floored. Not only was he interested in my situation, he explained, in terms I could understand, what he could and would do to help. He explained his history with NASCAR, CART and INDY, which further built his credibility. He told me what I needed to buy, and what I didn't need. His price on the rebuild was slightly higher, but I could care less. I INSTANTLY decided he was the only person that was working on my motor. I was so impressed that rather than shipping the motor to him, I decided to drive the 24 hour trip to and from his location, just to meet him (9/23/00). He invited me to his home, where we spent several hours talking shop. You can tell this is his passion. You can also tell he is a genuinely honest person. I have seen the infamous civic and type r. They do exist. And boy are they sleepers.

Every since, Larry has kept me up to date on progress. Even going so far as to taking digital photo's of internals, just so I could see the transformation myself. And here I am, less than one week from ship date (10/30). Getting very excited.

FYI- The motor is getting the full meal deal. Everything Larry can put into it. Including rebuilding the JRSC. When it is back and has been broken in properly, I will give you feedback, although there is no doubt it will be no less than spectacular.

So for those of you who are questioning Larry's work.... Give it up. This board is full of speculation from people who really have no understanding of who Larry is and what he is capable of.

(By the way, Larry and Oscar have had a long time rivalry... Of course the guys at Moss are going to talk bad about him.)

This message is written not because i want to bash Larry or his work. i am just written from years of experience in Japan mainly dealing with suspension, but i hang around the track enough to know 24psi of boost will kill any stock car that does not have a turbo from car maker.

Keith is not an idiot. Keith actually have some quite insights on the SC. some of us are not believers until there is ACTUAL prove for people. I am sure that some people will trust people more than others. but honestly, u really think buying their SC will give u about 400hp? and UPTO 24lb of boost?

dont forget that when u get ur car back, he will give u the 3inch pulley. ofcourse its going to be faster, all i heard was people getting their SC modified by Endyn. Is there one person that got their car dyno?? all i heard was..."yeah its so much faster".

the real point i am trying to make is, lets take out the name larry for a sec. would u believe it someone told you that they can make a SC that give ur teg about 400hp running at 24psi, and u do all this with stock internals. but the catch is, there is no time slips, dyno runs to back up their claim, AND THEY HAVE NO RELEASE DATES?? wouldnt u tell them to basically buzz off?

again, i am speaking from logic and reality. all of you starts getting pisses of cuz someone doesnt believe in larrys work.

ofcouse there are things that cant be proven, and there are things that is hard to prove. but a simple on the record dyno run, 1/4 mile slip will stop all the talking and get to the facts. anyone cared to ask why larry didnt really prove it?? i know some of you will say, he has nothing to prove to anyone.

i end this by saying...dont get mad at me because i have a different view from you. and just think about it..........
